Tempos in music and dance are slow, medium, and fast. Students explored doing movements to various tempos. Then, we did the Chicken Dance which starts with a medium tempo, then progresses to fast, and super fast. The Chicken Dance also teaches students about movement patterns. You can look up the Chicken Dance on YouTube. It`s a fun dance to do with your child - maybe even your Thanksgiving guests.
