During February , Dance with Books Students will re-learn the dance "Carnival", a dance choreographed by Ms. Shakur, Dance Educator. "Carnival" is a tribute to Caribbean culture and Ms. Shakur's Montserrat heritage. Also, Ms. Shakur will teach Students the dance "Gumboots", from South Africa.
